Lots of charcoals drawings and other silly coffee sketches but I really started to enjoy 

that black messy medium.

Will start working soon so I'll have less time for personal stuff, we'll see ..

Anatomy Revisions

Mental Workout

Lately I've been feeling that with all those digtal mediums/tricks and magic, that I've not been concentrating on my drawing skills and that has put me in quite some uncomfortable situations..

So I took all the anatomy books and my sketchbooks and started cramming and drawing as much as I could. It feeled pretty good, had some revelations, stupid stuff I should've know before but still .. I learnt something today.

I'll be sharing some quick sketches that I did in my mini moleskine during coffee breaks, 

I always carry it around and try to fill it up with as many ideas possible for further illustrations. 

Also spotted a deer in my back garden, had to run 3 floors up and down to get my camera, but was worth it ~

This was more of an experiment I started yesterday that I thought was hopeless but after some tweaking and a fresh view, 

it turned out quite interesting imo.

Break & Roadtrip

I've been off the grid for a while , havent painted anything special these last few weeks. I have been travelling a bit and inspired myself as much as possible , scribbling in my pocket SB and trying my hand at photography again. Gonna get me some good acrylics to get back into traditionnal medium.. we'll see how that turns out.. haha.

So I was taking it easy and went on a roadtrip with me friend Yannick near Dunkirk, France. Lots of history, and great spots to shoot some nice pictures. I'd recommand it to anyone who likes to do some hiking to go walk along the dunes of Wissant.

Freelancing & Experiments

Hello World

 Finally found some time to update my blog. I've started freelancing a week ago and got some brainwrecking commisions/requests, sadly not all got back to me but that's part of it too, waiting.

Poor F5 button got smashed like never before, checking gmail hundreds times a day...

So I'd like to shout it off the rooftops here aswell :

I will be looking for a new appartement and the plan is to live off freelancing only. yeah I know, it's the starving artist tale all over again, but I think with a little help from everyone, I would be able to get enough clients to move before august..

 so enough blabidblabla, more paintings.

I've been sketching and experimenting quite alot again recently, so alot of weird shit ahead..

Some tests for the new CFSL exposition : Absinthe. 

 Some other good news, I was accepted to show 6 of my works in their upcomming Artbook wich is the sixth and ofcourse best of the series. haha
